1994 evinrude 175 powerpack install

hows it going.. i just bought a new powerpack for my 94 60 degree 175hp. with the instructions that came with it it talks about adjusting the timing. is this something i need to do. or just plug it in and go? any input would be greatly appreciated

If you didnt touch the timer base you shouldnt have to. But myself i would check it to make sure only takes about 10 mins to do

The timing should be checked when replacing the pak.
