I hate fixing things that are not broke. But, I have become paranoid about my thermostats because of all the posts here on iboats. I usually do my annual tune-up in late February and planned to change thermostats this year. I went to the local marine shop to purchase new t-stats and mechanic said he would not mess with them since I have not had any problems. I left the shop with my normal tune up gear (plugs, fuel filters, decarb, lower unit oil)(water pump is new). This motor was purchased new in June of 1994 and has never had any major problems. Thermostats are the original ones that came with the motor. The motor has never been in salt water. The motor has 110 hours on it (was used very little until last year). Any opinions on whether or not I should change the thermostats?<br />Thanks
