1994 Force 90 Hp Idles @2200

[7Litre]

I have had this motor for ten years and never had this problem ... on first launch of season, would not idle below 2000. Used carb cleaner to look for air leak around carbs, nothng found ... set idle screw to absooute lowest setting and still have problem ... runns OK at higher rpm's ... suggestions, next steps ???

Is the timer base returning to fully retarded position at idle? It should hit it's stop at idle...
