1994 Johnson 150 HP Ocean Runner

First trip out this summer and my voltage regulator blows. I get that fixed and my second trip out the warning signal is comming on telling me that my oil is low (one short tone every 40 seconds) However, my oil resevour is completely full. And it only seems to come on when my rpm's are low. Any idea what the problem is here?<br /><br />Thanks.

lundboat,<br /><br />Your oil reservoir may be full, but full of what?<br /><br />If you have never cleaned out your oil reservoir, now is high time to do it.<br /><br />1. Remove the tank, dump the old oil.<br /><br />2. Replace the filter sock.<br /><br />#. Refill and reprime.<br /><br />5. Run the engine on 50:1 pre mix until you can verify oil useage again. (mark a line on the tank).
