1994 johnson 175 fastrack tilt

Hello, I have a 1994 Johnson 175 Fastrack. tilt went out and am stuck in the down position. I have unscrewed the manual release which lowered the moter to its lowest position but I can't raise it by hand for trailering/service.
Anyone know how to manually raise???
