1994 Marnier 150 efi-No beeping??

I have a 94 marnier magnuim 2.5L efi, I have no warning beeps at all?? Is that the way it should be?? I bought the boat end of summer last year and worked fine... Just wondering if I should have any beeping going on when I start it??
also i'm removing motor from boat to put on bigger boat, Is there anything or any diagrams on how to remove throtle cables and wire harness easily??? should un hook from moter first or throtle box???

You might consider getting a shop manual to get much of the information you need. I would not recommend owning/maintaining/setting up an outboard without one.
