I have been boating for about 11 years, but just got a new I/O to me, its totally different from the Old Force I had. So I am new to this.
The question that I have is what should the Oil Pressure be? At Idle it seems low to me, when I am sitting, but as soon as I get up to 1k rpms, it jumps right up to 40 psi.
Should I worry or is it just a newbie thing, that I should not worry about.
The boat runs awesome, that little motor screams, even when the boat is fully loaded I can still get the Rooster tail started. And it will do every bit of 50+.
Also the Temp is showing right about 150, and never warms any higher than this, should it? The guy I purchased it from said it would run right at 175, if I remember correctly. I have never seen it get that high though.
