I bought a 1994 VIP valiant and it is an electricians nightmare. There are wires hanging down behind the dash and now I don't have any power. Does anyone know where to get a wiring diagram so I can start to finish fixing this boat?

Re: 1994 VIP nightmare

I have an 89 Valiant 19' that I just got on the water; it was a huge project when I got it a couple of months ago, I had to install new floor, engine, carpet, seats, service outdrive (OMC Cobra); buffed severely oxidized paint, ect., but I have to say I like the boat a lot. I bought a VIP because they tend to be fairly stylish (I think, at least for the year that I bought) and they are affordable. They won't handle choppy water like a Crownline, but they are a good afforadable boat that looks good. Mine has a 4.3L in it, I would be happy to answer any questions you have, maybe I can help, maybe not!
