Got a 1994 130hp Yamaha 2-stroke, model 130TLRS, that I rigging in a bass boat. I prefer the "push to choke" style key switch. So I got one, 703-82510-43-00, connected each wire to the matching color wire but no luck. The motor will turn over but thinks the kill switch lanyard is off. No spark and the alarm is sounding. Is there a way to get this to work or do I have to go back to the old style switch?
