1995 115 mercury trim bleeding???

i emptyed my trim pump, and put new fluid in, continued to go up an down with it an add a bit more fluid, when its about 3/4 of the way down and i stop with the button it slowly creeps down by itself, what is wrong is it not blead properly or is something wrong with the system, an what exactly is the procedure for bleeding the system??? thanks

To bleed the system, trim the motor all the way up, lock it up and leave it there for 20 minutes, to let the air bubble out. Refill the unit and run it down and up a few times and trim it all the way up, lock it up and let it sit for 10 minutes or so to allow the air to bubble out. Repeat as necessary. If the trim still settles after it si bled, you need to replace some of the seals, likely the piston seal.
