1995 40hp mercury

Hey guys, I am still working on this motor, fuel problem solved. Now I have no fire at all. I do not know anything about the electrical system. What do I check.next? So far I only checked the plugs and no fire thanks guys help appreciated

If you can't get it started, how do you know the fuel system issue is fixed? Did you disconnect something electrical when you worked on the fuel system? Good battery? Safety lanyard clip installed?

so the fuel pump runs good while turning over , but there is no fire at the plugs on any cylinder safety switch is connected

I did not mess with any electrical. battery is new and spinning starter fast. I removed carbs to clean, but they looked new.
