Hello again,yiamkis<br /><br />Before you replace the motor, check the connctions to the motor. Also, check the fluid level. Raise the lower unit all the way up if it will and remove the fluid fill screw. Make sure it's topped off with fluid and cycle it 4 or 5 times with the screw slightly loose. You said in you last post that you could get the motor ro work if you tapped on it. That's wht I suggest the motor may be shot. You can check the connection to the motor to be sure they are tight and not corroded. If all is well there, I would think the motor is bad. Probably the brushes in the motor.. And yes, you can just replace the motor..
