Looking to replace the impeller on this model OD977617, 1995 4hp, 2stroke.
It has been ran in salt water and not properly flushed afterwards numerous times in the last few years... I acquired it for free so. It starts on first pull and for the most part seems to run smooth other than randomly shutting off. I have only ran it for a minute or so though because it is not pissing water. Any suggestions on how to go through the whole coolant system to look for corrosion, clogs..? Also a quick how to remove the lower unit to get to the impeller. Hoping to steer away from having to buy a manual just for this. It will probably get sold shortly after it's fixed since I have no use for it. Waiting to order parts until I know what all I need.
If I can get the coolant system back going I'm sure a good carb cleaning should have it back to life.
