How do the carburators look. They might need to be cleaned, also check compression in all 3 cylinders, maybe look to see if fuel filter is dirty, or fuel pump might be going out. Let me know if any of this works

There aren't very many people on here that know about jets. I found
http://www.outboardjetboats.com/ is a more helpfull site for anything about outboard jets. They helped me out a time or two.

never seen a jet , never rebuilt pumps. never seen what happens when the muffler corrodes through.
however test compression first, then check spark then go clean your fuel system.
what a comment, thats like saying most techs never saw an outboard.

Re: 1995 50/35 EJRT yamaha outboard

well I tried to get some help on this site about jets a time or two and nobody ever answered my questions. Luckily i found somebody on iboats that runs jets and he thought the same thing. He introduced me to the outboardjetboats.com And I know that an outboard jet is all the same as a regular outboard except for the lower unit. Trust me, I like this site. I've been helped out quite a bit. And when I have another question i'll be sure to ask you mr. rodbolt

dont ask me, just post a question.
and no jets differ slightly from outboards.
typically the water pump housing is different, not always.,
and if you have never seen what a hole correded through the muffler will do the look for a bald technician.
however the impellers prime mover is still an internal combustion articulated rod engine.

I knew that about the water pump.
In my expierence, rebuilding/replacing the impeller in the water pump is much easier than a prop motor cause you don't have to worry about the shift rod, even though there are a few more bolts to take loose on the jet intake.
