At least it broke down on the way to the marina, so it's out of the saltwater!

We think the gas ran out. We have an in-hull tank and the gas gauge is no longer working. Added gas, maybe it's flooded, but we have lots of good starting action, it just wont turn over.

The big shocker is that the tilt/trim don't work. I get a relay-sounding "click" but no real actuation. I had to get in and lift the motor up to get the locks down.

So, first thing to check, since the relays are working, is the hydraulic oil. I unscrewed the cap (see right, below) and got a nice glug-glug stream of clean fluid - how the hell do you fill this thing???? That cap is at the bottom of the reservoir...

Thoughts? Take the motor off and see if it moves with some 12V?

FYI - lots of good pressure at the bulb and at the fuel line-engine quick disconnect, it spits after trying to start.

You fill it til it starts pouring out.

So the tilt pump does not run? Looks kinda rusted out from the pic.

After you crank the engine are the sparkplugs wet with fuel?

Are you getting spark?
