1995 60hp johnson

Hey guys,
i have a 1995 60hp johnson, just recently when i go to slide the throttle forward to go into gear the engine stalls. if i move the thottle faster it works ok.
do i need to clean the carbs??

Always make sure when shifting from neutral you arent lightly tapping that shifter , shift it hard. When were the carbs last cleaned? Low speed jet may need to be cleaned. Do you have a manual? Watch this demo video on tips.

ahhh i was tapping it forward, the engine was rebuilt around 4 months ago. so im hoping the carbs were done at the same tiime. i have a manual ill have a look to see what the low speed jet is.
