I am trying to bring this boat back to life. I was told to post my thread here. There is a soft spot on the passenger side of the boat pulled carpet up and pushed my hand right through. I noticed also standing water in the boat and the boat has been exposed for awhile 5 years maybe so i should expect that and then some,but there were no soft spots on the driver side of the boat. Anyway when i pushed my hand through what I thought was wood seems like a bunch of foam and maybe wood under it i don't know, i am a first timer but willing to give it a shot. Looking at other post I may have to pull the top cap off the boat? Is there any other way to check without having to do that. But if i have to take the cap off, i'm ok with that. Just need step by step info on starting this project.
