I just bought a boat that ran good when I first got it then took it out and gout out of the no wake zone and was waiting for the other boat so I was just hanging out and the boat died and wouldn't restart so towed it back replaced the plugs and distributor cap and took it back out ran okay with some miss still but good enough to tube for a couple hours then started going back and it started backfiring and then would die I had to sit there for about five min and then go again for about five times of that to get it back on the trailer then changed the fuel filter and took it back out and it's still going the same thing like its getting too hot and it has a auto bilge that turns in more than I think it should but this is my first boat and ideas it's a 305 5.0 motor I think
