1995 cajun 1850 fish and ski

Hey everyone so I have been getting help in the other forum on my motor and its lead me to here. I am trying to rule out any thing. I took out the back seats to uncover my fuel cell. I have 3 to 4 lines coming out of it and I am not sure where they go. I have been digging all day and cant find a guide. I saw another post from 3 years ago where someone said

I have a 17' Cajun '93 fish & ski. The vent on it is on the splash tray at the rear of the boat on the right side next to where the steering cable comes out to the motor.​

Never saw one at the rear of the boat before...especially when the the filler opening is on the left side of the boat about 3/4 way back. Most boats would have the vent by the filler neck. The vent at the rear splash tray is a good idea though...because it doesn't gas stain the side of the boat like some I have had."

is this correct and or what am I missing. can they be stopped up​
