1995 cobra viper gelcoat repair

Hey guys. I just bougbt my grandfathers 1995 cobra viper. Its a 19 ft dual console bass boat. It has sat for a few years now and where the sun is more prone to the boat. Some of the gel has started to crack. If you could offer some insight on possible repairs id appreciate it. Thanks in advance!!!

Sand surrounding area with 80 grit, use dremel to clean each crack. Wipe down well with acetone. Buy gelcoat repair kit. Mix colors to get as close as you can. Use bondo spreader or plastic putty knife to apply the new gel. Tape plastic over the repair to enable full cure. Sand and fair, buff to polish
