Hey again all. I'm onto another boating adventure albeit, not nearly the project level I'm used to getting (basket cases). This one is in pretty good shape. One thing I'm having a hard time finding is the plastic surround for the gas cap filler neck. I'm not 100% what you'd call it and so far searching the interwebs and known good parts suppliers I have in my saved links, I'm not having any luck. Can anyone who may have a Crestliner Pontoon enlighten me if you know of a source?

Thanks
Roger

Roger,
When I rennovated my old pontoon boat several years ago, the fuel filler looked like the first attached photo. I'm guessing yours has a similar arrangement. I doubt you'll find an exact replacement. ..... I needed to replace my filler neck assembly so I fabricated a trim piece out of a piece of PVC cutting board. It looks a little strange in the second photo because it was taken at night with a flash. But in normal daylight it just looks like a white trim piece.

Something like your OEM yes. After I posted this, I thought to myself, it wouldn't be too difficult to fab up a piece to fit. The fill ca[ and vent outlet are both on that panel, but still shouldn't be much to do. I'll have to hit the store and see what I can find to make work. Thanks for the pics, that helps.

I'm in the midst of a project right now where I've been scratching my head on this same thing. This found doing a google search on "gas filler bezel"

https://www.fillernecksupply.com/42-degree-filler-neck-protector-dish-bezel-housing-square-plastic/

But I think I'm going to do something closer to what Tommy did only using an alum. plate. That gas cap and filler looks like the one I bought. It's a Perko part that combines the vent tube and is angled down slightly on the back side. The angled down part is important, to me anyway, as I frequently pour or siphon fuel from another container. Angle makes that much less likely to make a mess.

This is what the back side of my filler looks like.
