I have a 1995 Evinrude 150. I ordered carb kits for the carbs to be rebuilt. Included in the carb kit is a gasket that goes under the "seat" to the needle and seat. Upon dissasembly, the carbs did not have this gasket, do I need to install the ones that came with the kit? Or leave them off as it was originally?

I wasn't sure if this was an "upgraded" part.

thanks

Re: 1995 Evinrude 150 Carb question

The carbs that do not use a gasket for the needle and seat has a raised contact point on the carb. Makes me think of a buildt in o-ring. If you use gasket with this carb, float will set very high, when trying to set the float height.

It is not neccesary to add the additional O-ring to the seat. =)
