1995 Evinrude 50 hp wire diagram

Hi everyone, I got a great deal on this motor but the lower unit had a bad bearing so I got it home and rebuilt the gearcase with new bearings and seals. My problem is I can not find the right wire diagram for this motor. It is a 12 amp system and the manual I bought only has the 4 amp diagram. It is close but not the same. My motor I think is missing a wire from the battery side of the solenoid to the terminal strip (there is only 1 wire on the battery side and I think there needs at least 2

normally that post gets a feed from the rectifier to enable the charging system to backfeed to the battery ... another goes to the front ignition key via fuse

see diagram of an older engine... see solenoid left post at the bottom

1. fat REDfrom battery
2. one RED from the rectifier regulator
3. one purple (fused) heading out to the key for choke...starting... and accessories

Doesn't the power pack take the place of the rectifier?

Nope------Powerpack has nothing to do with charging the battery.-----Work carefully as smoke from wires in the wrong place is expensive !!

I figured it out! The guy who had it before me had 1 wire on wrong side of solenoid! Glad nothing is fried! Thanks again for all your help. Tim
