1995 Evinrude 70Hp powerpack

I have a 1995 Evinrude 70Hp that will not run. At first it did not have spark to #1 and #3 cylinders. After some checking it was a bad powerpack. New powerpackd (>$200) motor ran for 3 to 5 sec:%. now no spark on #1 and #3 cylinders and #2 is fine, if I hook the lead for #2 cylinder to either #1 coil or #3 coil they have spark. So, it seems I have another dead powerpack, but my question is what to check to find out what is killing the powerpack. THANKS

How did the stator and sensor test? I have had this happen with a bad wiring harness between the control box and the motor.Make sure the black/yellow wire in it has NO voltage.That will kill a pack quick.Also clean and tighten all battery leads (both ends) as well as grounds.
