Bad vibes when I went to look at it. Cosmetically it was not in good condition. Then when it ran, it smoked excessively. There was some rust spots on flywheel and a white residue on certain parts of shaft. I live in Wisconsin. I thought it might be salt, but the guy insisted that it was only used it freshwater. He was asking $650 initially, then $600. I did not buy it. Water was coming out of the water pump opening and from the exhaust port. Is this normal? My 6 hp Rude has the water coming out of exahaust port as it does not have a separate opening. For future reference, is this how it should function?
