Hi Guys,
Had a great day on the water yesterday, except on the return at low tide. I trimmed the engine to prevent polishing my prop more than it already is, but once in the deep water again, with the engine trimmed back down, I could not get any power. At around 2500 RPM the engine would bog down. I put the shifter in neutral to see if it was an engine limitation, but the engine rev'd right up without any issues. When I put it back in gear, I still couldn't get any power. Everything worked great all day at high and low speeds.
Since this happened immediately after running trimmed I assume it is likely a trim issue. The TILT limits RPM of the engine, so if this switch was broken, I still wouldn't be able to rev up the engine in neutral...right?
Thanks for your help.
