HI, I am trying to find out how many poles I have on my motor so I can buy the correct tachometer, right now I use a Tiny Tach but I want a real tach for it.

1995 40 horse serial# 0E093700 thru 0E138599 have a 12 pole stator.

THANK you so muh pnwboat, I bought the wrong manual for my boat and I didn't trust what it said was orret. I am sorry I just got bak with you, but I normally am looking in the prop setion. If you ever need any help with props, just let me know.
