I have a '95 Four Winns Horizon 190 with an original equipment Lowrance depth finder. The display is right on the dash. It works, not great , but it works, sometimes intermittent. Question I have is where is the transducer located? Nothing visible from outside the boat. Is it in the bilge? Is it under the floor on the inside of the hull? Somewhere else?

If there isn't a transducer on the stern then it's probably in the bilge close to the centerline.
They can be epoxied to the hull or some use a thru hull fitting.
Either should be obvious.

My 95 searay has one in the bilge like Alumarine mentioned. About 2 feet forward or the transom.

My 1988 has a transducer on the starboard side of the bilge just in front of the engine. The dash gauge was long gone when I got this boat and I've been using a Garmin 441S sounder/GPS for some years, a pretty good unit.
