Hello;
My engine is only firing on the three port side cylinders. All three of the starboard cylinders do not have spark. I changed spark plugs, but no help.
I next checked the port and starboard cylinder head temperature switches to see if they were perhaps generating an overtemperature condition (putting the engine in S.L.O.W. mode), but they open and close per the specified temperatures (i.e. they are good).
I checked the temperature gauge transducer (and the gauge ), but they are operating properly, and have never indicated a too high temperature condition.

Questions:
1. Is there any specific test(s) that could verify the power pack is bad?
2. Can anyone recommend any other tests I should perform before going off and buying a new power pack?

I sincerely appreciate any help.
Thank you.

There is a switch back near the shift linkage that snaps into a holder.It shuts off 3 cylinders while shifting.Take it out of the holder and wipe it off and test the button in the center.Might need replacement.Charlie

Thank you Charlie.
I found the same information on another post, and was investigating the switch.
It tested bad, and when I disconnected it from the harness, #1, #3, and #5 cylinders (starboard side) all had spark.
Looks like the switch is the culprit.

Thanks again.
