I have a 1995 merc 115hp when I have the motor tilted all the way up for trailering it leaks oil like no tomorrow I have looked all over for the leak and can not find it, any ides??
It must be coming from the injection tank.Is the level in the tank lower after the leak?Leave the motor cover off when you tilt it up and see if you can see where it is coming from.

I cant see the leak
Is there a seal at the bottom of the tank or is there just hoses to the tank ?
Does anyone have a parts list/picture of the tank and how its hooked up?
If the hose connector or the oil level sensor was leaking it would do it with the motor down, as well as when it was up. My best guess is the the fill cap is leaking, or there is a crack in the tank near the top.
The tank isn't to hard to take loose. Pull it and tip it over to the angle it would be at when it's a full tilt.
Take the cowling off and tilt the motor up. You will probably see the oil res leaking at the cap. Try turning the motor so the res is up high when tilted up.
