While out on the the lake last night, we were running back to the dock at about 1/2 throttle when we suddenly lost all power from the motor. Battery was changed with a fully charged one and in fact continued to run everything and turn the motor over just fine. I had just replaced spark plugs and the impeller the day before. Any ideas?
I don't know if this is related or not, but I had noticed that the volt meter had continued to stay right at or just below the 12 volt mark, and the RPM guage had stopped working about 3 trips ago. I had replaced the RPM guage, but that did not solve the RPM guage problem.
By the way, thank you to the Grapevine Fire Department A-shift for the tow back to the ramp that saved my arms after nobody would stop and help a fellow boater in trouble.
