1995 Merc 9.9 4Stroke water tube

Hi, I am a newb at this outboard stuff. I dropped my lower unit today to inspect and replace the impeller. The water tube came out with the lower unit. The water tube and the boot which fits in the water pump cover were all together but not in place, it was loose. I have the impeller in and was trying to set the lower unit back in and I don't see anywhere for the water tube to go. I can see a 1/2" hole with teeth for the driveshaft, and can see the shifter rod hole but see nothing to put the the water tube in.

Is there a grommet type opening for the tube to fit in, a hose to connect to or how does it connect?

Figured it out, darn hole was hidden.
