1995 Mercruiser 4.3 Sea Ray 195 Starts, runs for about 30 seconds and stalls

Hello, Hoping someone can help me with this issue. I have searched the forums and done some of the testing that is noted in the listing, but it still hasn't worked.

I bought this boat that wasn't winterized and the manifolds were cracked. I replaced the manifolds and the risers and it started, but it dies after about 30 seconds.

In the driveway on the muffs, I can get it to run consistently until I shut it off... Sometimes......, but when I put it in the water, even when it is beached, it dies after 30 seconds or so. When it dies it will start right back up, but only run for a little while.

I got a carb rebuild kit and rebuilt the carb. I drained the gas and put in new gas. I dipped the carb pieces when they were apart. I took out the gas pickup tube and removed the screen. I changed the spark plugs too.

I don't know what else to try... Please help!!!!!

elec or mech fuel pump? Could be ing related. Have you run the motor from a remote aux tank to rule out a tank issue?

another question did your head by chance look cracked from the outside on the top of the exhaust ports? I have the same motor and the same thing happened. New manifolds and risers and she should be good to go. I pulled my valve covers and where it looks cracked I couldnt see anything on the inside.

Hello. Havent run from external tank yet. Got new oil pressure switch to try. Need to put it in. I already put on the manifolds and risers. I did have a minor new crack I jb welded. And an old one I fixed too...
