First post, slight introduction, used to ride standup jetski, but not so fun being wet all day, so i Bought my first boat 1985 21’ checkmate starflite. Restored 100% 10” setback jackplate, hot foot, gas tank, dual batts gauges etc. Now the fun part
Have a 95 200 xri efi. Boat has been restored wiring etc

motor is strong good compression, and pulls 5500 at 62 mph gps with a 23’ tr04.

I get no test beep upon ignition which is tellin me the system is not operating. Injection is workin, although iv decided to premix 60:1 alongside the injection for precaution till i can figure out where or where to install this buzzer

so thats really it. All i want is to get the oil injection up and running with the oil/overtemp system operating.

Although i will say, since the past weekend and doin the premix i feel alot more secure about this 25 yr old motor at WOT.

IM AWARE of all the oil injection pros n cons, and im all for leaving the injection if its working correctly. But one thing is for sure, so with that if anyone has a starting point or test procedures to check components of the system id be great full.

My buddy who is certified merc mechanic blew out his back, among other things, so hes been alittle diluted if you will on pain killers. Ha. Love the guy but i just cant wait anymore.
Thanks———✔️

no "self check" beeps means one of a coupla things.. buzzer not workin'.. oiler module not powered up and/or bad.. you can check buzzer with over temp wiring.. starboard side, little to tha right and above start solenoid there is a plastic term block.. should have three tan (maybe tan/blue wires terminated under one screw.. with key on ground that screw to tha block.. should set tha buzzer off.. if it does disconnect tha tan from terminal going to oiler module and ground again.. if it goes off then over temp is probably workin like it should... with key on check purple going to oiler module for 12V ta ground..
