1995 Four Winns Horizon 190 4.3 OMC Cobra. I know my cable is bad, verified by disconnecting and shifting manually. I disconnected my cable at the control lever but I can not get it out. From the control lever it goes to the back and then into what I assume is a water tight hose that runs through the bulkhead. It doesn't simply slide out like I expected it to so is there latching device of some kind? Any tips or advice?
