Can someone lead me in the right direction? These are off a 1995 Sea Ray 175 3.0LX. Trying to figure out what parts I need to order. Really hoping I don't have to order a whole new distributor.

Welcome aboard.

Why don't you tell us what Mercruiser motor your working on instead what boat it's in. Guessing it's a 4 cylinder.

Well, you edited as I was posting. If you have the room to get to the distributor, it won't have to come out.

Sorry first time posting in here, trying to get the boat back on the water and keep my sanity. It's a 3.0LX, is this an EST Motor? The serial number and stuff is scratched off the carb cover thing.

The serial number is on a plate by the starter.

Thanks, going to head to the parts store and see what I need tomorrow. If it's only a couple dollars cheaper, i'll just replace the whole distributor. The little module is $109 by itself.

That is a lot of corrosion. I'd be pulling the distributor, stripping and cleaning it all. Then preserve and reassemble. New parts I'd consider, rotor and cap, and the module screws, in stainless.

Yeah boat sat for a year, didn't replace cap and rotor, Ran for awhile, then died, couldn't get it going again. Still can't get going again, just floods out, plugs are soaked in fuel. This looks like my issue. I was considering just replacing the module, cap and rotor, and pickup coil but after I add everything up, I can get a new distributor for 220.00 and just put that in..Any more advice would be awesome. Sorry for not being more clear about my issues

Replaced distributor because by the time I replaced, cap and rotor, module, pickup coil, was almost at 220.00. Got a replacement from Michigan Motorz. Had a buddy retime it and it fired right up.
