Hi guys,
Need some help & advice?Bought the boat(1995 AqualSport Explorer) about month ago. Compression (P-140.150.140 S-140.150.140), gauge may register a bit high, but even. Motor starts fine, idle fine and runs strong?but?.
1. Lots of smoke at idle, I would say more white then grey.
2. Port bottom plug real clean, rest look black, too much I think.
3. Oil(TCW3) drips from the prop after motor is shut-down.
The smoke problem started when I changed the fuel water-separator filter, after installing the new filter I had to prime the fuel system by pumping the fuel bulb till it became hard, no-problem. When I got off the boat there was huge puddle of oil(TCW3) under the drive. From this point on I get lots of smoke and oil dripping from prop. I may have more than one problem?the clean plug and white smoke may indicate head-gasket, but the compression is good and motor runs fine. I did check the link to the oil-pump & carb, it?s fine per the manual.
