I already have the block bored and new wiseco forged pistons but I saw that one of the reed valves is cracked. What kind should I order and where? I have to order the seals, bearings and gaskets also but they seem to be more available.

I got the aftermarket ones. They claim to increase the hp.

Thanks

Re: 1996 150XL rebuild parts question

I bought the Boyesen. I hope they are as good as they think they are. I had some bad luck with them though. They sent all the valves in the pack but were missing 2 of the vev strips, I think that is what they called them. I called the company, they apologized and I should receive them any day now. I put the wrist pin bearings in yesterday, polished the crank and did one more cleaning of the block today. I will start putting it together Monday. This is my first boat engine rebuild, I'm taking my time but I am looking forward to hearing it run. I've gained a lot of information on this site from you guys, thanks very much.
