1996 15hp Gamefisher Engine Help

Hi I have a 1996 gamefisher 15hp engine and it smokes alot but runs great are there any solutions to this??

We need more information. The amount of smoke a 2-stroke outboard makes is a matter of interpretation.

What fuelil ratio are you using? It should be 50:1.

What brand of oil are you using? Synthetics smoke less.

Are you running the outboard in a barrel? The smoke tends to be more visible.

Does it smoke more when you first start it? That's normal.

If the engine seems to be running fine and you're using a 50:1 fuelil ratio, you're probably making about the normal amount of smoke.
