1996 40hp Not getting spark to coils

Drove the boat around all day yesterday and while i was docking the motor died. its a mercury 40hp 2 stroke. 4cyl. it is getting fuel, i cant find an obvious kill switch. i put a spark tester on it and there is no spark. not sure where to go from here. its turning over fine, just no fire. the boat does not have a teather kill switch that i can see. any help would be great thanks

I think I narrowed it down to the Switch box. It is getting power to the right side but not the left side. the left side is the one connected to the coils. i just ordered a new switch box.
