Hey guys...been smelling oil coming from the engine compartment of my boat when I run for extended periods of time. Lifted cover and found my breather hose hanging down along lower side of rocker cover. It appears to be where the oil is coming from (not a lot, just about 2oz or so). I cannot detect any oil leaks anywhere else? Is there a way to mount it so this doesn't happen? It has a zinc coated bracket with a hole in it, just slipped in the end of the hose? It was just tucked in next too the intake manifold previous to engine rebuild, but could be mounted using the bracket?

1) Would having it lay lower than the rockers cause it to "draft" oil?
2) Does this mean too much crankcase pressure and should I install a second breather hose on Starbord side?]

It should be mounted on top of your spark arrester. The hole slides over the stud coming out of the top of your carb.
