1996 carburator 225 HP Stalling under load

before I send her to the shop is there any thing I can do, the engine will idle in gear and after 1,500 RPM she stalls, in netural she can rev up all the way with no load, any ideas that I may be able to fix. THANKS BOB

compression test 95 psi in one cylinder and 105 psi in the other 5 cylinders, next I checked for spark and got nothing, what gets me is how the motor ran at 1,500 RPM yesterday and today with a spark tester nothing, I guess its to the shop. and off hand my fuel flow guage on board was reading 4 1/2 gallons per hour at 1,500 RPM so that tells me the fuel pump as working yesterday. what could of happened. well hooked up a spark tester on sunday, and she could not jump even a 1/4 gap I am thinking it may be electrical problems, I guess its off the the repair shop. Thanks Bob
