1996 Evinrude 48spl tilt trim conversion ?

i can get a whole 1992 50hp motor with a bad lower unit with 145psi in both cyls

Can i swap the whole tilt trim bracket and unit to my 1996 Evinrude 48 spl ?

Just checking before i buy the 92 motor for 350 bucks.

You should be OK there. I beleive only the tilt/trim unit needs to be swapped onto your motor, not the brackets.
Go to www.shopevinrude.com, check part #s for your year/model and compare to #s for the other motor.
