ever since i brought the boat home and put it in the water, here's what happened...
1. water in the hull while on the water - very old little bilge pump inop, and found a huge gouge in one of the exhaust connectors - installed new bilge pump, installed new 4" hose piece
2. engine would never rev past 2500 rpm - ordered audible alarm kit for the mercruiser, spent an hour with a tech on the mercruiser computer, no audible alarms, no DTC's - while i was in Cabo just a month ago, i ordered scanner-pro for the MEFI-3, and found out that there were some flags set, deep in the ecu. cleared those and water-tested...got to ~4600rpm @ 65mph
3. right now the boat is in the garage, i ripped out the entire interior and carpet (except for the bow area). already purchased new green outdoor carpet, glue, tools and waiting for a string of 5 days of 65F or greater (which will be about 5 months from now

). also rewiring the stereo system, and instead of 3 amplifiers, i'll be going with 2 amplifiers, new head unit, possibly new entire dash w/ new gauges.
