1996 Johnson 15 carb settings

I wonder if someone who has a manual for this motor might be able to tell me the initial setting for the carb? It’s currently not running without the choke out. Also do I need to adjust the screw on the left side I’m the top plastic piece? Not sure what the original setting ought to be. Thanks as usual

My 1989 manual calls for 1 3/4 turns out from lightly seated. Might start there. If the engine starts, let it warm up. If you get popping (lean sneezing) turn counter clockwise about 1/8 turn -- repeat process until engine smooths out.
