1996 Johnson 225 Ocean Runner, How much does it weigh??

About to do a SeaCast job on my rotted transom and I am wondering if I need and engine lift or 2 or 3 buddy's to lift it off the transom and est it on the stand??

Nevermind, I found a site that says its 450lbs.. That sounds about right although it didn't specify a year but I can ballpark it from that..

go to NADA boat/outboard section, they have weight.

Thanks... Model number shows 455lbs... The guess was right on I suppose. Is that something that a few buddies of mine can lift and set on a stand or should we look to hire or find an engine lift/ marine shop?? Would you recommend lifting it by hand?

get a lift, or a come-a-long from a thick tree limb, it is way to heavy to man handle. I have man handled a 115 before, but I will not again, they are around 330 LBS.
