1996 Johnson 25" shaft

I would like to mount a Johnson 150 w/25" shaft length on a boat designed for 20" shaft. Could this be accomplished with a custom made bracket similar to a jackplate. I need the heigth, not the set back that a jack plate provides. Any Thoughts??? Thanks-WDR

Welcome!!<br /><br />A manual jackplate will work perfect there. The standard one from Bob's Machine is convertable so theres very little offset. Although you might find it would help.
