I have a 1996 Johnson 40hp. The motor was not run in two years. The motor fired up and idled rough from the beginning. So I rebuilt both carbs and ran OMC engine tune through the service valve. After rebuilding the carbs she still idles lousy. I did a carb adjustment according to Reeves' page, and followed step by step his instructions to no avail. The motor has good compression and spark. Any advice? Thanks, Ryan.
