I found a thread here on the topic, bought the oil pump plug kit followed the procedures mixed my fuel and oil stared the engin. Low oil alarm blaring....what did I miss? The resivoir cap off and disconnected the sensor sitting on top of oil pump removed and unplugged. Any ideas where I went wrong? Thanks for any help.

The module is solid state with theee additional wires after the resivoir cap and rotation sensor wires the other three, they go to other side of motor to two different terminals. I completely remove the module ? Right?Just a oil changing brake changing Mech. This is a little scary.

Did everything boat started great ran fine..till I put it in the water. Come out of the hole them loose power...still running but Boggs down. I went back and review the process.i didn't remove the oil line attached to the lower part of the motor. It was to be plugged? It that the problem? With the power?
