1996 Mer 5.7 drive making noise Help!!

I have a 1996 Crownline with a 5.7 merc alpha II with a 1.65 gear. I have a noise coming from engine of the outdrive when I turn the wheel more the one full turn. The noise in a grawling sound that also has a vibration with it. I have recently replaced the gimble bearing. Just wondering what the noise might be. Hope someone out there can help.

Most likely the u-joints sometimes they feel Ok BUT you see bad things when ther changed

Has water ever gottne into the bellows ?

Were the U-Joints Inspected while it was Apart,....... Greased,.??...
